A set of components manufactured with incredibly fine tolerances make up each Remington’s primer. Primer cup dimensions are precisely controlled to .0001′′, and a carefully developed priming mix is used to ensure reliable ignition with a wide range of powder types. Reliability testing for Remington 9 1/2 Primers is done between -20 and +150 degrees Fahrenheit. Even with off-center firing pin strikes, the special tripod anvil design expands the strike area while maintaining maximum sensitivity.
